In its fourth year, Ear to the Earth is a festival that focuses on environmental issues. E2E features multimedia artists that compose and create with media mined from the environment, as well as panel discussions and forums. This year Ear to the Earth will address the topic of bio-diversity in its presentations. Performers will include: Bruce Odland & Sam Auinger, Steven Feld, and David Monacchi among others.

From October 2009 through April of 2010 New York City will be treated to a series of dynamic presentations of the extraordinary works of postwar creative revolutionary
Iannis Xenakis.
As part of the festival,
EMF will present an unprecedented glimpse of the famed 1958 World's Fair presentation of the immersive La Corbusier's
Philips Pavilion. Designed by Iannis Xenakis, Poème électronique
will be realized as Virtual Electronic Poem, featuring Concrete Ph and Varese's Poem.
Other presentations by EMF include an evening of percussion music composed by Xenakis, and a dance performance of Orient Occident choreographed by Luca Veggetti.
