EMF's Creative Resource Center is a place where composers, sound artists, and performers in New York City can meet colleagues, develop concepts, solve problems, learn new tools, and produce work.

Our recording studio is excellent. Our facility includes a studio for composition, sound design, and editing and processing sounds and video. We provide access to expert engineers and advisers. We provide special support for Pro Tools and Kyma and other software.

We offer classes, workshops, and tutorials in software, recording techniques, and sound processing.

For the workshops or special events, please reserve your place by paying in advance. Pay online. Or call 212-206-1505. Or If you pay in advance and your plans change, we'll apply your contribution, or any part of your contribution, towards any other workshop or event admission.

If you have an idea for a workshop, please let us know. If you want to attend a particular workshop, but can't make the specific time it's taking place, let us know.
